Richard Howard Retires!

Richard-websiteAnd so… after a mere 34 years with P & R Hydraulics, Richard Howard embraces the retired life!

Richard’s contribution to P & R has been immense. He has overseen times of change and times of significant growth, all with consummate professionalism. The entire P & R team thank him whole heartedly for his expertise and how much he has delivered for us in particular accelerating growth in both domestic and international markets.

As sad as this is, it also ushers in a new era for P & R Hydraulics. We are in the process of restructuring and there will be several changes in the immediate future.

The first of which is moving Fred Edwards (formerly Assistant Hydraulic Engineer) from the workshop to technical sales. Fred joined us in Nov 2010, and has attended a number of hydraulics courses run by the National Fluid Power Centre in Nottinghamshire, as well as numerous manufacturer-specific courses. In the five years of working with P & R we are delighted to have seen Fred gain vast knowledge of our product range and as well as general technical excellence in hydraulics. He is clearly the right candidate for the job.

We will announce more changes as and when the details are finalised.
